SACCI Convention 2016 – Website Development

SACCI Convention 2016 – Website Development

It was lovely to recreate the Sacci Convention 2016 Website for the second year in a row. A new website to drives tickets sales.  The Sacci Team wanted an corporate style website that showcased their speakers and the event while staying true to their branding and companies they represent. Each Page was custom designed with a different layout, they especially liked the drop caps that appeared in the articles. A job well done.

The Durban Chamber and The Spar Group Flood Relief Initiative – Email and Print Campaign

The Durban Chamber and The Spar Group Flood Relief Initiative – Email and Print Campaign

The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with The Spar Group wishes to reiterate with its members and the residents of KwaZulu Natal to maintain a very high level of safety and awareness as the provinces faces severe adverse weather and flooding. In this regard, we would like to call on all residents of KwaZulu Natal to join hands and pledge donations for materials in which individuals affected by the flooding this week will be in dire need of. Suggested relief items include, Bottled Water, filter masks, mold killer, insect repellent, towels, blankets,
non-perishable food, baby diapers, bleach, brooms, mops, shovels, bleach wipes, hand sanitizer,
triple-antibiotic ointment, work gloves, rubber boots, buckets, toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc) and batteries.
The vulnerable in our communities face times of intense difficulty in the aftermath of the floods. As per previous estimates from just Durban, there are about 350 000 people living in informal settlements in Durban Metro Area. It is important that KwaZulu Natal comes together as a community to assist those impacted to get back on their feet because beyond the concern over socio-economic circumstances, the management of the disaster can serve to perpetuate vulnerability.Through partnering with The Spar Group we call on donations of any items you feel will help all people affected by the floods, and through the Durban Chamber Non-Profit Companies network, we will all work to distribute and reach as many of affected people as possible within a short timeframe.

New website for Wheels On Wings

New website for Wheels On Wings

I felt that Wheels on wings needed a fresh website  the team was getting tired of that 2012 layout so during my spare time I managed to get the site up and running. So far we have helped number of people access information and we have given away a few wheelchairs. Together lets fly.

Wheels on wings was established to educate and empower people living with disabilities and their families. Our objective is to serve one and all in anyway we can, whether it be from simply providing important information and contact numbers to, assisting with wheelchair sponsorships, employment opportunities and also the different codes of sport that they could get involved in.

The KZN Arts and Culture Trust was formed in 1995 to cater for the needs of the KZN arts and culture communities. It was also commissioned with the task of organising, developing, supervising and integrating provincial projects and ensuring that the established regions function effectively, efficiently and economically. One of the core functions of KwaCulture is to ensure that the development and promotion of previously disadvantaged art forms is decentralised. This we do by hosting and facilitating the following. This is the website I created for them
